Garage Floor Coating
Garage floor coating seals your slab against salt, oil and hot tires, laid over diamond-ground concrete in flake or solid colour. Every garage we coat is fully insured.

Cambridge Epoxy Flooring puts down epoxy flooring, polyaspartic coatings and concrete repairs for homes, shops and plants in Cambridge and North Dumfries. Our work carries full insurance, and quotes are always on paper.
Our work covers two kinds of customers. Homeowners call us about garages, basements and rec rooms. Plant, warehouse and store managers call us about production floors, dock areas and retail units. The same steps apply to both.
A good coating depends on the slab under it. Before suggesting a system we take a moisture reading, trace the cracks, scrape at any old finish and ask what rolls or drips across the floor.
That visit tells us which system will last. A basement near the river needs a different primer than a dry garage. A plant floor with coolant needs a different topcoat than an office. We explain the reason for each choice on the quote.
Every floor we coat is ground with diamond tooling. That leaves a texture like a fine file, and the same pass clears away paint, curing film and tired kits.
Acid etching is faster and cheaper, but it leaves a weaker bond. We grind every time, on a one-car garage or a large warehouse. The dust is pulled into a vacuum as we go, so the rest of the house or building stays clean.
Floors in this city deal with a few common problems. Road salt comes in on every car in winter. Hard water means most basements have a softener that can spill salt and brine. Many plants run forklifts and carts on the same slab every shift.
We plan each coating system around those problems. Garages get grip and a salt-proof seal. Basements get moisture testing and a sealed utility area. Plants get thicker builds and phased schedules.
Cambridge joined Galt, Preston, Hespeler and Blair into one city in 1973, and its floors still show the mix. Galt has heritage homes and an old downtown on the Grand River. Preston has older houses and plazas along King Street. Hespeler pairs a historic village around Queen Street with newer streets on its east side. Then there is the industrial land near Highway 401, where much of the city's manufacturing and warehousing sits.
Each of those areas brings different slabs, from thin century-old basements to plant floors poured last year. Our epoxy flooring process is set up to handle all of them.
Grinding for epoxy flooring is done with dust collection running. Doors, walls and drains are taped and covered before work starts. At the end of each day, tools are put away and the area is left safe. When the epoxy flooring is finished, we haul away our waste and leave the space ready to use.
On paper you will see the system, how many coats, the film thickness, each repair and the price. It also lists the dates and how long the floor will be out of use. There are no surprise charges after the work starts.
Call (226) 407-7180 and we will pencil in a free floor check. A quick scroll through our epoxy flooring home page shows the full lineup of systems.

Industrial epoxy flooring gives manufacturing plants a thick, sealed surface that resists coolant, oil and dropped parts. We build each system around the traffic and chemicals on your floor.

Basement floor coating seals the grey, powdery slab under your laundry and softener so spills, salt and boxes stop leaving marks. No basement gets priced until its slab passes a moisture check.

Warehouse floor coating protects concrete from forklift wear, tire marks and spills, and it stops slab dust from settling on your stock. We plan every warehouse job around your shipping schedule.

Polyaspartic floor coating hardens in a few hours rather than days, so a garage or shop floor often takes tires again within a day, and it keeps its colour when the afternoon sun pours in.

Commercial epoxy flooring gives retail units, clinics, offices and showrooms a seamless floor that looks clean and mops up fast, installed outside your opening hours.

Warehouse floor marking paints the traffic rules onto the slab, giving lift truck drivers and pickers clear lanes, crossings and stop bars.

Epoxy flake flooring adds coloured chips to the base coat, which hides dust and small marks and gives the floor texture underfoot. In Cambridge garages it outsells every other finish.

Concrete floor repair rebuilds cracked joints, pitted patches and low spots so a slab is safe to use and ready for a coating. We repair floors in homes, shops and plants across Cambridge.

Metallic epoxy floors carry mica powders that drift and shimmer as the resin levels, so each floor turns out one of a kind. It suits finished basements, home bars, showrooms and salons.
